Your equipment. The right filing scope.
Power-Only Authority Setup Service
You supply the tractor; another business supplies the trailer. That arrangement does not by itself settle whose authority you use or who bears trailer and cargo risk. Start with a scope discussion that connects the customer agreement, licensed insurance-agency handoff and carrier records before paying for independent setup.
Review my remaining work before payingPrivate service—not FMCSA. No planner completion required.
Before choosing this service
Scope independent power-only setup against trailer agreements
Buy only the missing work. Read the fit checks below, identify completed filings and vendor responsibilities, and confirm the scope before paying if your situation needs review.
Already applied? Review the existing docket instead of filing again.Who this service fits
Prospective independent property carriers with an identified power-only operating arrangement who need the remaining authority and launch work scoped against their tractor, drivers and customer requirements.
Pause before purchasing if…
Operators who will remain leased onto another authorized carrier but assume tractor ownership requires independent authority; buyers seeking trailer rental, customer contracts, interchange insurance sales or guaranteed program acceptance.
Existing or revoked authority, transfers, specialized cargo, and uncertain registration paths require confirmation. Do not assume a standard new-carrier package covers them.
Resolve these facts before spending
Establish whose carrier business performs the haul
Bring the proposed customer or carrier agreement and identify the entity responsible for the transportation. Independent power-only work and a leased-on arrangement are different purchasing situations. Do not authorize a new federal application until the intended operating model and existing records are clear.
Resolve the borrowed-trailer exposure
Ask the licensed agency to review the written agreement, trailer possession, physical-damage responsibilities, cargo obligations and any interchange terms. The agency determines how proposed coverage responds; our service does not interpret indemnity language or guarantee that a standard policy satisfies the contract.
Separate customer access from carrier setup
List the customer’s authority-history, equipment, documentation and trailer-acceptance conditions. Assign inspection, defect reporting and return responsibilities before taking equipment. A new authority, paid launch package or completed carrier packet does not promise entry into a shipper or broker program.
Concrete work. Visible boundaries.

Outside this tier
- Equipment, insurance premiums, agency fees, taxes, and vendor subscriptions
- Dispatch, load booking, guaranteed customers, or operating capital
- Ongoing daily compliance management, legal advice, or tax advice
Keep four different budgets separate
- Our service
- $1,899 for the listed Launch Kit 30 work—not an all-in company launch.
- Government charges
- $300 per permanent federal authority type when required; USDOT registration itself is free. State formation, UCR, plates, taxes, and other credentials are separate.
- Third-party costs
- BOC-3 providers, insurance, and vendor contracts are separate line items. Obtain current charges and written quotes for your actual profile.
- Operating reserve
- Keep cash for fuel, premium installments, repairs, deductibles, and the time between delivery and customer payment.
Your handoff into the service
Start with a non-sensitive summary of the operating agreement, tractor and driver roster, existing USDOT/MC records and licensed agency contact. Do not email passwords or protected identity documents. We confirm the remaining setup scope before payment; obtain qualified contract advice separately when needed.
Completed entity or federal records are reviewed before new work. No duplicate filing, automatic discount, or transfer of prior vendor payments is promised.
What stays with the owner
You provide accurate business, address, equipment, driver, and cargo facts; keep account access; personally complete required identity verification; authorize submissions and contracts; and pay separate costs.
A licensed agency arranges insurance. Agencies grant registrations and authority. You maintain records, renewals, safe equipment, qualified drivers, taxes, and compliant daily operations after setup.

What happens after payment
Receipt → private onboarding
Return from secure checkout and create or sign in to an account with the email on your receipt. Your purchase opens package-specific onboarding. The free planner is not required, and payment submits no agency application.
Your facts → reviewed scope
Provide the legal or proposed company name, base state and physical address, signing contact, cargo, commerce, equipment and drivers. Include existing USDOT/MC records and vendor contacts. Broader packages also collect vehicle and driver rosters and your real cost inputs.
Authorization → coordinated work
The team reviews existing work, applicability, missing evidence and separate charges. You approve submissions and vendor terms and complete owner-only identity verification. Protected identity and driver documents use the requested secure handoff—not ordinary email.
Launch manager support lasts 30 days; it is not an activation deadline. No response-time or agency-approval guarantee is promised.
Already have an MC number? Start with its status.
- Pending application
- Bring assigned identifiers, filing receipts, outstanding notices and insurance contacts. Confirm what remains before paying. We review the current docket rather than submit another application; a pending number does not authorize hauling.
- Active authority
- Compare remaining operating setup with Launch Kit 30 or Fleet Launch. We confirm scope and reuse accepted records. Previously completed work does not automatically earn a discount, credit or refund.
- Revoked, transferred or mismatched
- Pause and request a fit review. Reinstatement, ownership transfers and record repair are not included as routine new-carrier work. Do not buy a second application to try to bypass a problem.
Who controls what—and what can delay launch
- Day One Authority
- Prepares and coordinates the purchased scope, reviews supplied records, tracks handoffs and verifies evidence. Missing facts or authorization pause the affected work. We do not issue authority, place insurance or guarantee an audit outcome.
- Government agencies
- FMCSA controls review and activation; states and tax agencies control their credentials. FMCSA guidance describes 20–25 business days for new applications, with further review potentially taking longer. Accepted required insurance and process-agent filings are separate gates.
- Licensed insurers and vendors
- A licensed insurance agency quotes, explains and binds coverage and handles its financial-responsibility filing. Process agents, testing programs, lenders and software providers control acceptance, contracts, charges and service delivery. Introductions do not guarantee approval.
- You, the carrier
- Provide accurate information, retain account control, complete personal verification, consent to protected queries, approve costs and contracts, and maintain compliant operations. Verify active authority and all applicable credentials before accepting regulated loads.
Inspect the work, not a promise

- Assemble verified company/insurance/authority records and coordinate any factoring assignment notice. Review securely before release.
