Day One Authority

Trust, scope, and standards

A launch service should be clear about what it owns.

Day One Authority is built for one high-stakes handoff: moving a new motor carrier from an idea or pending docket to an organized, operating launch without pretending that government, insurance, or market risk can be guaranteed away.

We own the sequence, not your credentials

We prepare delegable filings, coordinate vendors, and maintain the launch calendar. The company official still completes FMCSA identity verification personally; we never ask for shared credentials or promise to bypass that step.

Our fee is separate from pass-through costs

Government fees, insurance premiums, taxes, plates, and vendor charges are not disguised inside our service price. They are shown as estimates or paid at cost, and vendor recommendations are not driven by insurance or factoring commissions.

We make bounded claims

We do not guarantee authority activation, insurance approval, audit outcomes, freight volume, or profitability. When a rule varies by state, commodity, vehicle, or driver, the page says so and points you to the responsible agency or licensed professional.

The short version

Fewer surprises. Better handoffs.

The free knowledge base is the same operating logic used in the planner and Launch Kit 30. Read it first, use the tools, then decide whether delegation is worth paying for.

  • Official agencies and current source material are prioritized.
  • Review dates and source context are visible on guide pages.
  • Estimates identify the assumptions that can move the number.
  • Corrections are verified and dated, not silently overwritten.
  • No claim of government affiliation or guaranteed approval.
  • No markup on government fees or undisclosed vendor incentives.
