Buy the work your launch still needs.

Trucking Authority Filing Service

Buy the application work without buying an entire operating stack. Authority Only organizes formation, federal registrations, process-agent designation, UCR and docket monitoring for a confirmed new-carrier operation. It fits buyers who already have an insurance agency and someone responsible for their safety programs and operating systems.

Private service—not FMCSA. No planner completion required.

Who this service fits

Filing-focused independent property carriers who have settled their applicant identity, actual operating profile and insurance path, and need the listed submissions organized rather than a first-month business setup engagement.

Pause before purchasing if…

Owners who still need insurance matching, driver qualification files or software setup; existing dockets needing reinstatement or transfer; buyers expecting a paid service to waive government fees or accelerate agency review.

Existing or revoked authority, transfers, specialized cargo, and uncertain registration paths require confirmation. Do not assume a standard new-carrier package covers them.

Resolve these facts before spending

  1. Identify the applicant before submitting

Use formation records, owner-approved legal name, principal address and existing identifiers. Resolve name mismatches and pending applications before creating any new federal record.

  2. Assign the work outside the filing tier

Name your licensed insurance contact and the people managing driver files, safety programs, vehicle credentials and operating accounts. Missing owners for those tasks may justify a broader package.

  3. Approve each separate charge

Distinguish the private service fee from state charges, the applicable federal authority fee, process-agent costs and UCR. Review scope, authorization and cancellation terms before payment.

Concrete work. Visible boundaries.

Authority Only: the included service work

  • LLC formation in your base state
  • EIN acquisition
  • USDOT + MC application (Motus filing)
  • BOC-3 process agent designation
  • UCR registration for the current year
  • Docket monitoring through the 21-day protest period
  • Email support until authority reads ACTIVE

This is filing assistance, not insurance placement or outsourced carrier management. Authority Only email support continues until active authority is verified. A receipt or assigned MC identifier is not permission to haul.

Outside this tier

  • Insurance broker coordination
  • Compliance program setup
  • Factoring, TMS, or ELD selection

Keep four different budgets separate

Our service
$599 for the listed Authority Only work—not an all-in company launch.
Government charges
$300 per permanent federal authority type when required; USDOT registration itself is free. State formation, UCR, plates, taxes, and other credentials are separate.
Third-party costs
BOC-3 providers, insurance, and vendor contracts are separate line items. Obtain current charges and written quotes for your actual profile.
Operating reserve
Keep cash for fuel, premium installments, repairs, deductibles, and the time between delivery and customer payment.
Build the broader startup budget

Your handoff into the service

After checkout, use the receipt email to open your private onboarding workspace. Submit accurate operating facts and existing-record references; the team reviews applicability and authorization before filing. You retain owner-controlled access and complete personal identity steps yourself.

Completed entity or federal records are reviewed before new work. No duplicate filing, automatic discount, or transfer of prior vendor payments is promised.

What stays with the owner

You provide accurate business, address, equipment, driver, and cargo facts; keep account access; personally complete required identity verification; authorize submissions and contracts; and pay separate costs.

A licensed agency arranges insurance. Agencies grant registrations and authority. You maintain records, renewals, safe equipment, qualified drivers, taxes, and compliant daily operations after setup.

Payment is the start of the handoff

What happens after payment

  1. Receipt → private onboarding

Return from secure checkout and create or sign in to an account with the email on your receipt. Your purchase opens package-specific onboarding. The free planner is not required, and payment submits no agency application.

  2. Your facts → reviewed scope

Provide the legal or proposed company name, base state and physical address, signing contact, cargo, commerce, equipment and drivers. Include existing USDOT/MC records and vendor contacts. Broader packages also collect vehicle and driver rosters and your real cost inputs.

  3. Authorization → coordinated work

The team reviews existing work, applicability, missing evidence and separate charges. You approve submissions and vendor terms and complete owner-only identity verification. Protected identity and driver documents use the requested secure handoff—not ordinary email.

Authority Only email support continues until active authority is verified. No response-time or agency-approval guarantee is promised.

Already have an MC number? Start with its status.

Pending application
Bring assigned identifiers, filing receipts, outstanding notices and insurance contacts. Confirm what remains before paying. We review the current docket rather than submit another application; a pending number does not authorize hauling.
Active authority
Compare remaining operating setup with Launch Kit 30 or Fleet Launch. We confirm scope and reuse accepted records. Previously completed work does not automatically earn a discount, credit or refund.
Revoked, transferred or mismatched
Pause and request a fit review. Reinstatement, ownership transfers and record repair are not included as routine new-carrier work. Do not buy a second application to try to bypass a problem.

Who controls what—and what can delay launch

Day One Authority
Prepares and coordinates the purchased scope, reviews supplied records, tracks handoffs and verifies evidence. Missing facts or authorization pause the affected work. We do not issue authority, place insurance or guarantee an audit outcome.
Government agencies
FMCSA controls review and activation; states and tax agencies control their credentials. FMCSA guidance describes 20–25 business days for new applications, with further review potentially taking longer. Accepted required insurance and process-agent filings are separate gates.
Licensed insurers and vendors
A licensed insurance agency quotes, explains and binds coverage and handles its financial-responsibility filing. Process agents, testing programs, lenders and software providers control acceptance, contracts, charges and service delivery. Introductions do not guarantee approval.
You, the carrier
Provide accurate information, retain account control, complete personal verification, consent to protected queries, approve costs and contracts, and maintain compliant operations. Verify active authority and all applicable credentials before accepting regulated loads.

Preview your service-work checklist

This blank sample comes from the same fulfillment catalog used for Authority Only. It shows actual work definitions and required evidence—not completed customer work, a filed application, or an agency approval.

Scope and filing authorization reviewed
Confirm exact legal identity, applicability, existing filings and explicit customer authorization for each submission. Request identity evidence privately; record authorization and fee approval references.
USDOT and MC application
Confirm applicable authority types, authorized Motus submission and government-fee payment. Record agency receipt and assigned identifiers.
Operating authority verified active
Verify the official operating-authority status and applicable insurance filings. Record source, checked date and docket identifiers. A payment or pending docket is not authority to haul.
